Sipping Rooibos…
It's that vanilla/honey taste that makes it irresistible… reminds me of the way the air would smell after a light rain, first thing in the morning in sub-saharan Africa. A dusty floral aroma. I feel different after drinking it-mellower? Certainly relaxed, but not sleepily so…it would be a good tea for Middle East peace talks.

I am a caregiver to my mom who has dementia. In the last 8 months she has had a tough time getting into deep sleep at night. As she drops into deep sleep her breathing engages in congestion, causing her to wake and from that point on she sleeps shallowly, which depletes her energy and incurs oxygen debt.
By accident I tried Rooibos tea before bed time. The wonderful thing about it is it helps mom to negotiate the congestion. Now she is able to remain sleeping and breathing deeply and when she wakes up she is not in a stupor that happens from the very best teas sold to help one fall asleep. Slowly her energy level is returning and she is reaching out to the world more and more.
