Numi Tea'm on the Aids Ride

Numi sponsored our own Robb Gibbs to participate in 2007 Aids/Lifecycle Ride which raised 11 million dollars for aids research. He was one of over 2,800 participants from 10 countries and 43 states who rode 545 miles to raise funds and awareness about HIV/Aids. Rob spent months training for the event with his ride partner, Joe Jones, who became paralyzed on the left side of his body after a stroke in 1989. Using a special recumbent bicycle, they work together as a team, Rob tirelessly pedaling while Joe steers and pedals with his good side.

		Simple Treasured Pleasure Nina shared with us her Ode to Numi below. We invite you to be inspired by her words and add a simple, treasured pleasure to your day. “I have always been a big fan of tea, ever since I was a child. Back then, of course, I was quite content with a steaming mug of Lipton with a dollop of milk. My tastes have evolved over the years, however, and, just as I have grown to appreciate fine wine, I have grown to love Numi tea. In fact, Numi teas have much in common with fine wines. Like fine wines, Numi teas are nuanced, unique and well rounded. Some, like Gunpower Green, taste of the earth. Others like Honeybush taste of flowers warmed by the sun. The Monkey King Jasmine Green tea is my personal favorite, however.
