

Earth, wind, fire and water join to create a natural union which determines the unique crystal character of each grain of salt. Since ancient times, fine grained salt crystals have been a treasured item for their ability to accentuate the flavor of any ingredient they meet. Our fine grains are produced in the dry season when the sun shines down on the black sand beaches and causes the brine to crystallize rapidly. The miniature crystals are harvested in the early morning twilight and left to dry as the sun rises overhead.
