As a working mom, I rarely have time to make Thai food from scratch. That's why I created this quick and easy version of one of my favorite dishes, Pad Thai. Steeped in fresh tamarind and lime, sauteed onions and shallots, this irresistable sauces has a perfect balance of sweet, salty and spicy flavors. And paired with my authentic rice noodles, it tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen. This wonderfully flavorful dish goes from stovetop to tabletop in minutes as a light dinner or special side dish. My favorite way to make it is as a restaurant-style stir fry with all the trimmings - shrimp or chicken, tofu, eggs, green onions, bean sprouts, crushed peanuts and cilantro. However you enjoy my Pad Thai, you'll find that it's always quick and satisfying.
Ingredients Noodles: Rice flour, water. Sauce: brown sugar, water, tamarind, naturally brewed soy sauce (water, wheat, soybeans, salt), onion and shallot puree (onion, shallot, canola oil, citric acid), fish sauce (anchovy, salt, water), canola oil, tomato paste, rice vinegar, garlic, corn starch, lime juice concentrate, spices, onion powder. Product manufactured in a facility that uses peanuts. Store in a cool dry place. Avoid direct sunlight.
