Holiday Seasoning
Victoria Taylor's Holiday Seasoning is a perfect combination of spices and herbs developed specifically for the holiday turkey and the stuffing. Sage, garlic, rosemary and thyme accent this special seasoning. Choose one of Victoria's many turkey and stuffing recipes such as Orange and Fennel Roast Turkey, Apple Corn, Bread and Pecan Stuffing or Wild Rice and Mushroom Stuffing to create your holiday menu. Sausage Stuffing with Cranberries and Apricots Preheat oven to 375°. Heat 2 Tbsp. olive oil in large skillet to hot, but not smoking. Add 2 medium onions, chopped and 3 cloves garlic, minced, and cook until translucent, about 10 minutes. Add 12 oz. sausage meat (sweet versus spicy) and cook until brown. Transfer the onion/sausage mixture to a large bowl. Add 3/4 cup apricots, 3/4 cup chopped fresh Italian parsley, 1/2 cup dried cranberries, grated zest from one orange, juice from one orange, 2 Tbsp. Holiday Seasoning and 1/2 tsp. salt to the sausage mixture. Stir in 3 cups white bread (torn into 1/2 to 3/4 inch pieces) and 14 1/2 oz. chicken broth.
