New Orleans Seasoning
The New Orleans Seasoning gets its heat from cayenne and its flavorful character from onion, garlic, paprika and cumin. The addition of herbs (oregano and thyme) give Victoria's New Orleans Seasoning a well rounded flavor which balances the heat in this Cajun style blend. This is the perfect blend for New Orleans style dishes like our Cajun Cornbread Casserole and Simmering Cajun Shrimp. Pete's New Orleans Grilled Shrimp This recipe comes from Victoria's godfather, Pete. Most of our seasoning blends and rubs are low salt or very low salt. That means salt is not the first item on the ingredient statement like it usually is on most of the blends you see in the marketplace. After all, why pay for salt when you are really looking for real depth of flavor?
