Barrel aged in limited quantities and seasoned with 1.5% sea salt, our Marsala Cooking Wine is characterized by its complex aroma, deep amber color, and sweet, nutty, caramelized taste. It's justifably famous for flavoring Italian classics such as Chicken Marsala, and can be used in risottos and even desserts like zabaglione. 4000 cases have been aged to perfection.

Chicken Marsala

  • 4 Tbsp. Napa Valley Natural Olive Oil
  • 2 bonelesss chicken breasts, pounded flat
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp chopped garlic
  • 4 oz. Napa Valley Naturals Marsala Wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • pepper to taste

Heat olive oil in skillet and add chicken. Saute chicken for three minutes on each side until brown. Add onion, garlic and mushrooms. Saute for one minute. Add Marsala and simmer for one minute. Add cream and season to taste with pepper. Lower heat to medium-high and simmer for 3-5 minutes. Serves 2.
