Victoria Gourmet Debuts New Products at 2009 Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco
Woburn, Mass., January 16, 2009 - Victoria Gourmet president Victoria Taylor today announced the company will introduce two new all-natural products at the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco at the Moscone Center, January 18 - January 20, 2009, Booth #484.

Victoria Taylor'sŪ New Smoky Paprika Chipotle Seasoning is the first seasoning blend in the line with the distinctive smoky flavor of mesquite. The two spices most famous for their naturally smoky character, chipotle (smoked jalapeņo) and smoked paprika, work together to deliver a satisfying spicy depth of flavor. "Smoked paprika has grown in popularity in recent years and chiplote has always been one of my favorite flavors," says Taylor. She recommends this blend is great for chicken dishes, tacos, chili, pork, beans & rice, fruit salsa, and shrimp. |

Victoria Taylor'sŪ Cinnamon Chili Rub for pork, chicken, steak is inspired by the Jamaican Jerk style blend that marries sweet with savory in just the right proportion. "I've always been a huge fan of the flavor potential when sweet and savory ingredients are in balance," says Taylor. She adds, "It is very trendy right now to use sweet and savory together in unexpected combinations for main courses as well as desserts." The darker Korintje cinnamon in this rub from Sumatra, Indonesia is more pungent and aromatic than Chinese cinnamon. It is blended with chipotle and ancho peppers for depth of flavor and heat.
