Once upon a time - about 25 years ago - a wondrous jewel of a food store
opened on Manhattan's Upper West Side. It was christened The Silver Palate.
Tiny though it was, the shop's gem-like offerings - from tempting salads
to whole meals and heavenly desserts - quickly attracted customers from
far and wide. The spot became a refuge for harried executives, neighborhood
couples, families and solitary diners who yearned for exciting, honest
foods but who didn't have lots of time to prepare them.
As word of The Silver Palate's magical condiments - like
Spiced Cranberry Apple Chutney,
Sweet & Rough Mustard™,
Good Old Apricot Mustard Sauce and
Balsamic Country Salad Splash®
- spread, patrons sought to carry the treasures from this enchanted oasis back home
to blend their own potions. Life was becoming more demanding. While it
was acceptable or even therapeutic to spend some free time in the kitchen
creating inspired meals, moments shared with family and friends became
more important. And here was a way to have it all: highest quality
ingredients blended into unique, useful and absolutely delicious products.
Thus was born The Silver Palate Kitchen's line of original
Salad Splash® dressings,
cooking sauces,
dessert toppings and
chutneys
made by hand, in small batches, under the most rigorous standards.
Those were the fabled 80s and here is a broad and delicious line of
products for the new millennium! Our line of products makes it incredibly
easy and quick to make a great meal. But no need to apologize for your
shortcuts - our pure, honest products will make you seem like a wizard
in the kitchen. We've blended flavors from around the world to infuse
taste and excitement into contemporary, lighter fare - the kind of food
