Tea comes from a single plant, the Camellia sinensis. From this one seed, grows over
3,000 types of tea. What is picked are the top two leaves and bud of this evergreen bush.
After the leaves are plucked, they are left to wither and oxidize (exposed to oxygen) and
undergo meticulous processing. This leads to four main types of tea: White, Green, Oolong,
and Black. Puerh is picked from old wild tea trees and yields additional health benefits.
Herbal Teasans are herbs, fruits and flowers which strictly speaking, do not from the
Camellia sinensis plant.
