Miss Meringue Proudly Supports Susan G. Komen for the Cure - Miss Meringue, Raising Breast Cancer Awareness!
SAN MARCOS, CA - July 19, 2007 - Miss Meringue® has recently announced its
continued donation of a portion of its proceeds to Susan G. Komen for the Cure,
an international leader in the breast cancer movement. Komen for the Cure promises
to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality
care for all and energizing science to find the cures. Now in its third year of
support for the Organization, Miss Meringue has pledged $0.39 from every container of
Vanilla Mini Meringue Cookies sold between May 1, 2007 and April 30, 2008 with a
minimum guaranteed donation of $25,000 to Komen for the Cure. In addition to this
contribution, Miss Meringue is reaching into local communities by sponsoring several
Komen Race for the Cure® events.
