Barbara's for a Brighter Future

Barbara's health-friendly approach extends into our communities and the world. In 1993, we introduced "Barbara's for a Brighter Future" which has donated more than a million dollars to local and national organizations that offer solutions to environmental, children's, and hunger issues. We believe in volunteerism and encourage employees to provide community service to non-profit organizations by donating $10 per hour for every hour worked at the organization.

The National Wildlife Refuge Association (NWRA) (www.RefugeAssociation.org) is the only organization dedicated to ensuring that the nation's 550 refuges reach their full potential to conserve diverse animal and plant species and their habitats. Created in 1973, Audubon's Project Puffin (www.projectpuffin.org) - is a world leader in seabird conservation and, through a world-renowned project, promotes restoration and responsible stewardship of puffin colonies on historic nesting islands in the Gulf of Maine.
