Our creamy Cashew Butter is created from only the highest quality cashews, prized for their rich taste and texture. While they do cost a bit more, we feel that the exquisite taste of our cashew butter is worth it. Surprisingly, cashews grind up quite dry compared to many other nuts. For this reason we add just enough supreme quality hi-oleic safflower oil to achieve the ideal smooth consistency.
Cashew Butter is perfect to use in sauces, dressings and dips. It stands up well to spices and makes a terrific addition to curry or sate sauce. Like many nut butters, it is enjoyable with fresh fruit and on crackers.
Our creamy Macadamia Butter is ground from delicately roasted macadamia nuts. Originally native to Australia, and now grown in several sub-tropical regions around the world, macadamia nuts boast a rich, buttery taste and produce nut butter with a dreamy, velvety texture.
Macadamia Butter makes a decadent dipping sauce for fruit and is extremely versatile in baking. Our test kitchen has found it to be a good substitute for shortening or butter in cookie recipes.
